The “BASKERVILLE” Company was established in 1923 to design and build high-pressure equipment, standard and custom-designed pressure vessels and autoclaves for industry and research.

Experienced not only in the design and manufacture of pressure vessels but also in installations, some at the forefront of high pressure technology, has provided the experience for investigation into new structural materials, thereby reducing lead times and keeping costs to an economical level. “BASKERVILLE” has provided through the development of its patented Multicell a solution to many research and development Pharmaceutical programmes. The Company portfolio of commissioned, designed and manufactured, standard or customized equipment is extensive.

“BASKERVILLE” is quality assured to BS EN ISO 9001 : 2000; is familiar with national and international codes including PD5500; Unfired Fusion Welded Pressure Vessels, and ASME VIII Div 1 NCS; Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Also all of our equipment is designed in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED); Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR) and British Compressed Gases CP4 Rev 2 1998.

Materials of construction, always a critical factor in the design equation, include stainless steels - super duplex, 316 and 321 to name but a few for most standard units, and a wide variety of other grades for special duties: Ferralium, Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel, Incoloy, Nickel, Nimonic alloys, Titanium, Zirconium and alloy steels.
